About Me
The short version: I help companies build reliable, scalable systems.
My Story
As a technology enthusiast since childhood, I graduated as an Electrical Engineer, with a strong focus on logic and computing, which captured most of my interest.
Starting with networking, I took CCNA courses to deepen my knowledge in this area. Landing my first job at Cisco gave me a strong foundation in networking and troubleshooting.
Working with SD-WAN systems provided my first exposure to automation and cloud foundations, sparking a deeper interest in scalable and software-defined infrastructures.
Joining OpenVPN Inc. opened the door to many opportunities, from troubleshooting cloud environments to automating tasks and engaging with both existing and new customers.
Continuous learning allows me to stay up to date with new technologies and pursue roles where skills are constantly evolving and expanding.
How I Think
Most Problems Are Solvable
While automation and troubleshooting are tools, I believe most technical problems can be resolved to a meaningful extent. The key is gathering the right information, paying close attention to details, and combining experience with collaboration when needed.
Collaboration Is a Force Multiplier
Clear communication is what turns a difficult problem into a solvable one. Whether through leadership, mentoring, or teamwork, collaboration helps align people faster, reduce mistakes, and move solutions forward.
Automate to Reduce Risk, Not Just Effort
Automation isn't only about speed. It's about building more reliable systems, improving performance and consistency, and reducing human error so the solution can scale with confidence.
Continuous Learning Through Curiosity
You can't know everything, but you can always question and learn. Curiosity has helped me grow into the position I'm in today, and I'm confident it will keep pushing me toward bigger challenges and better outcomes.
Experience
Technical Support Lead / Solutions Engineer
OpenVPN Inc.
- Promoted to Support Team Lead, Americas (Oct 2024); lead 4 engineers across multi-product support, owning escalations and SLA-driven operations.
- Handle ~120+ cases/month across Zendesk/Jira; own complex networking cases (routing, DNS, IPsec, SSO).
- Lead pre-sales technical discovery and solution design for enterprise customers; support deal cycles with reference architectures, risk/tradeoff guidance, and implementation plans for secure VPN and hybrid connectivity.
- Own complex PoCs and technical validations; build repeatable deployment/troubleshooting tooling (REST APIs, Bash, Python) to accelerate implementations and de-risk customer decisions.
- Design and validate hybrid/multi-cloud connectivity across AWS/Azure/GCP; resolve routing/NAT edge cases to unblock deployments and improve rollout stability.
- Translate business and security requirements into production-ready architectures, implementing and validating solutions using IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native tooling across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Cisco TAC Engineer – SD-WAN & Unified Communications
Cisco — via Sykes S.A.S
- Supported 50+ North American enterprises on Cisco SD-WAN; reduced critical-incident MTTR 20% via OMP route monitoring and API-driven visibility.
